Overview
Softaculous supports many CMS platforms including Joomla and Drupal. Installation is fully automatic.
Step 1 — Open Softaculous
- Log into DirectAdmin
- Navigate to Softaculous Apps Installer
Step 2 — Select the CMS
- Choose Joomla or Drupal
- Click Install
Step 3 — Configure the Installation
- Protocol: https:// (recommended)
- Domain: select your domain
- Directory: leave empty to install in root
Step 4 — Admin Settings
Set your admin username, password, and email.
Step 5 — Database Settings
Softaculous automatically creates the database for you.
Step 6 — Install
Click Install. Your CMS will be ready in a few seconds.

- Access your admin panel from the link provided
- Create backups before making big changes
