How to manage backups in Softaculous Print

Overview

Softaculous lets you create, download, restore, and automate backups for your website.

Step 1 — Open Softaculous

1. Go to DirectAdmin → Softaculous Apps Installer
2. Click Installations

Step 2 — Create a Manual Backup

1. Select your website
2. Click Backup
3. Choose what to include:
   • Files
   • Database
4. Click Backup Installation

Step 3 — Download Backup

After creation:

• Go to Backups
• Click Download

Step 4 — Restore a Backup

• Go to Backups
• Click Restore

Step 5 — Automated Backups

When installing any script:

• Enable Automated Backups
• Select frequency:
  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Monthly

Important Notes

• Backups use your hosting storage
• Download backups for extra safety
