How to uninstall WordPress or other apps using Softaculous Print

Overview

If you no longer need a CMS or want to reinstall it, Softaculous lets you remove WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, or any other script with one click.

Step 1 — Open Softaculous

1. Log in to DirectAdmin
2. Go to Softaculous Apps Installer
3. Click Installations

Step 2 — Select the website to remove

Find the CMS you want to uninstall and click the red X (Remove) icon.

Step 3 — Choose what to delete

Softaculous will ask what to remove:

• Directory (website files)
• Database
• Database user

Keep all selected if you want a full clean uninstall.

Step 4 — Confirm removal

Click Remove Installation.

Important Notes

• This action cannot be undone
• Always create a backup first
• If you only need a reinstall, use Reinstall instead of Remove
