How to enable automatic updates in Softaculous Print

Overview

Softaculous can automatically update your WordPress core, plugins, themes, and other installed scripts.

Method 1 — Enable updates during installation

1. When installing WordPress (or any script)
2. Scroll to Advanced Options
3. Enable:
   • Auto Upgrade
   • Auto Upgrade Plugins
   • Auto Upgrade Themes

Method 2 — Enable updates for an existing website

1. Go to Softaculous → Installations
2. Select your website
3. Click Edit

Scroll to “Auto Upgrade” Settings

• Enable Auto Upgrade
• Enable Auto Upgrade WordPress Plugins
• Enable Auto Upgrade WordPress Themes

Benefits

• Improved security
• No manual updates needed
• Less risk of outdated plugins

Note

Always keep backups enabled before using auto updates.
