How to change the admin password using Softaculous Print

Overview

If you cannot log into your CMS admin area, Softaculous lets you reset your admin password in seconds.

Step 1 — Open Softaculous

1. Log in to DirectAdmin
2. Go to Softaculous Apps Installer
3. Click Installations

Step 2 — Edit Installation

Select your WordPress, Joomla, or other script, then click Edit.

Step 3 — Change Admin Password

• Scroll down to Admin Account
• Enter a new secure password

Step 4 — Save Changes

Click Save Installation Details.

• Update passwords regularly
• Enable 2FA in your CMS when possible
