How to Remove a Domain from DirectAdmin
You can delete a domain from your hosting account at any time. This action removes all website files and related DNS settings.
Step 1 — Open Domain Setup
Go to Account Manager → Domain Setup.
Step 2 — Select the domain
Find the domain you want to delete and click Delete.
This will remove:
- Website files in
/domains/domain.com/public_html/ - DNS entries for this domain
- SSL certificates
- Subdomains under that domain
Important:
- Deleting a domain does not cancel your hosting plan or domain registration.
- Make sure to back up important files using File Manager or JetBackup.
