Overview
After you register or transfer a domain to VexoWeb, you can manage it directly from your client area, including renewals, nameservers, DNS, contact details, and more. This guide shows you where to find your domains and the most common actions.
Step 1 – Log in to your client area
- Go to billing. vexoweb.Account> "Login" in the top menu.
- Enter your email address and password, then click Login.
Step 2 – Open the Domains section
- Once logged in, look for the Domains button or menu item in your client dashboard.
- Click it to open the list of all domains registered or transferred to your account.
Step 3 – Check domain status and renewal date
In the domains list, you will see:
- Domain name – example.com
- Status – Active, Expired, Pending Registration, etc.
- Next Due Date – when your next renewal payment is scheduled.
You can click on any domain to open its management page.
Step 4 – Manage nameservers
- From the domain management page, locate the section labeled' Nameservers.
- You can choose:
- Use default nameservers – recommended if you host your site with VexoWeb.
- Use custom nameservers – if your website is hosted on another provider.
- After you make changes, click Save Nameservers.
Step 5 – Manage DNS records (if available)
If DNS management is enabled for your domain, you will see a Manage DNS option.
- Click Manage DNS.
- Add, edit, or remove records such as A, CNAME, MX, or TXT.
- Save the changes and wait for DNS propagation (usually up to a few hours).
Step 6 – Update contact details
- On the same domain management page, look for 'Contact Information' or 'Registrant Details'.
- Update your name, company, address, phone, number, or email as needed.
- Click Save Changes. Some TLDs may require email confirmation for changes to be made.
Step 7 – Renew your domain
- From the domains list, click the "Renew" button next to the domain you want to extend, or open the domain and use the "Renew Now" option.
- Select the renewal period (e.g., 1 year, 2 years).
- Complete the payment – once paid, the new expiry date will be updated automatically.
Step 8 – Additional options (lock, privacy, transfer)
Depending on the extension, your domain management page may also include:
- Registrar Lock – keep enabled to prevent unauthorized transfers.
- ID Protection / WHOIS Privacy – hide your personal contact details in public WHOIS databases (if available for your TLD).
- Get EPP/Auth Code – required if you want to transfer the domain to another provider.
