How to Restore Website Files Using JetBackup 5
JetBackup 5 allows you to restore your website files easily from automatic daily backups.
Step 1 — Log in to DirectAdmin
Open your hosting panel and go to:
Advanced Features → JetBackup 5
Step 2 — Open the "File Backups" section
Select File Backups from the left menu.
Step 3 — Choose the backup date
The system automatically creates daily restore points. Click the date you want to restore.
Step 4 — Select the folders you want to restore
Usually you should select:
/domains/yourdomain.com/public_html/Step 5 — Start restore
Click Restore Selected and confirm.
How long does it take?
- Small sites: 10–30 seconds
- Medium sites: 1–3 minutes
- Large sites: up to 10 minutes
Important:
Restoring files does not overwrite your database. Database restore is done separately.
