How to Restore a MySQL Database Using JetBackup 5

If your website is broken due to plugin errors, updates, or accidental deletion, you can restore the database from JetBackup.

Step 1 — Open JetBackup 5

Go to Advanced Features → JetBackup 5.

Step 2 — Select “Database Backups”

You will see a list of all your databases and available restore points.

Step 3 — Choose the database

Select your database (example: wp_site123).

Step 4 — Choose the backup date

Pick a restore point from the last 30 days (depending on your hosting plan).

Step 5 — Click “Restore”

Confirm the restore action.

Important notes:

  • Restoring a database overwrites all current data
  • Your website might go offline for 10–30 seconds
  • If using WordPress caching (LiteSpeed Cache), clear cache after restore
