How to transfer a domain to VexoWeb Print

  • 0

Overview

If you already own a domain at another registrar, you can transfer it to VexoWeb and manage everything from one place. This guide explains all the steps required for a successful domain transfer.

Before you start

  • Your domain must be at least 60 days old (ICANN rule).
  • The domain must be unlocked at your current registrar.
  • You need the EPP/Auth Code.
  • WHOIS privacy must be disabled (for most TLDs).
  • Your domain contact email must be valid — you will receive confirmation emails.

Step 1 – Unlock your domain at your current provider

Log in to your old registrar and disable the Registrar Lock. This allows the transfer to start.

Step 2 – Request the EPP/Auth Code

You need the EPP code from your current registrar. It is typically displayed on the domain management page or sent via email.

Step 3 – Start the transfer on VexoWeb

  1. Go to billing.vexoweb.com.
  2. Open Store > Transfer a Domain.
  3. Enter your domain name.
  4. Click Transfer.
  5. Enter the EPP/Auth Code when requested.
  6. Add the domain to your cart and proceed to checkout.

Step 4 – Pay the transfer fee

Domain transfers usually include a 1-year renewal. Complete the payment to start the process.

Step 5 – Approve the transfer emails

Depending on the TLD, you may receive one or more verification emails. Open them and click Approve.

Step 6 – Wait for the transfer to complete

Most transfers take 1–7 days. During this time, your website and email normally remain online.
