Overview
If you want to move your domain from VexoWeb to another provider, this article explains how to prepare the domain and get the EPP/Auth Code.
What you need
- A valid email address in your domain contact details.
- The domain must be Active (not expired).
- The domain must be unlocked before starting the transfer.
Step 1 – Log in to your VexoWeb client area
- Go to billing.vexoweb.com.
- Click Domains.
- Select the domain you want to transfer.
Step 2 – Disable Registrar Lock
Inside the domain management page:
- Find Registrar Lock.
- Please set it to Disabled.
Step 3 – Disable WHOIS Privacy (if enabled)
This is required because the new registrar needs to verify your contact details.
Step 4 – Get the EPP/Auth Code
Still on the same page, click Get EPP Code. WHMCS will display the code instantly or send it to your designated email address.
Step 5 – Start the transfer with the new provider
Go to your new registrar and start the transfer process using the EPP/Auth Code.
Step 6 – Approve the transfer emails
You may receive a confirmation email from the registry. Approve it to continue.
Step 7 – Wait for the transfer to finish
Transfers usually take 3–7 days. During this time, the domain remains active.
