Overview
Before you can transfer your domain to another provider, you need to disable the Registrar Lock. This prevents unauthorized transfers and is turned on by default.
Step 1 – Log in
- Go to billing.vexoweb.com and sign in.
- Open the Domains section.
- Select the domain you want to unlock.
Step 2 – Locate the Registrar Lock
On the domain management page, look for the Registrar Lock setting. It is usually at the top or in the sidebar.
Step 3 – Disable the lock
- If it shows 'Enabled', click 'Disable Registrar Lock'.
- Wait a few seconds for WHMCS to update the status.
Step 4 – Confirm un.lock
Once disabled, you can proceed with generating the EPP code and starting the transfer with your new provider.
TLD notes
- Some TLDs may not support transfers or unlocking (rare)
- For .UK domains, the transfer system uses IPS TAG instead of lock/EPP.
