How to create an email account in DirectAdmin Print

Overview

You can create professional email accounts (name@yourdomain.com) directly from your hosting panel. This article explains how to add a new mailbox in DirectAdmin and where to access it.

How to create an email account

1. Log in to your DirectAdmin panel.
2. Open E-mail Manager → E-mail Accounts.
3. Click Create Account.
4. Enter:
   • Email username (example: info)
   • Password or generate one securely
   • Mailbox quota (or choose “Unlimited”)
5. Click Create.

Where to access your email

You can access your mailbox using:

1. Webmail (recommended)

Go to:

https://yourdomain.com/roundcube

2. Email apps (Outlook, Apple Mail, Gmail mobile)

Use these IMAP settings:

IMAP Host: mail.yourdomain.com  
IMAP Port: 993  
Encryption: SSL/TLS  
Username: your full email  
Password: your email password

SMTP settings depend on your chosen provider (see our Brevo guide).

Tips

• Use strong passwords — mailboxes are common targets for attacks.
• Do not use the same password for multiple email accounts.
