  • 0

Overview

To ensure the highest email deliverability, we recommend using Brevo (Sendinblue) as your SMTP provider. This prevents your emails from landing in spam and keeps your server IP reputation clean.

Step 1 — Create a Brevo account

Sign up at:

https://www.brevo.com/

Step 2 — Add and verify your domain

  1. Go to Senders & IP → Domains.
  2. Add your domain (example: yourdomain.com).
  3. You will receive DNS records for:
    • SPF
    • DKIM
    • DMARC
  4. Go to DirectAdmin → DNS Management and add the records.

Step 3 — Get your SMTP credentials

  1. Go to SMTP & API.
  2. Copy:
    • SMTP host: smtp-relay.brevo.com
    • Port: 587 (recommended) or 465 (SSL)
    • Username: your Brevo login email
    • Password: your Brevo SMTP key

Step 4 — Configure your email app

SMTP Host: smtp-relay.brevo.com
SMTP Port: 587
Encryption: STARTTLS
Username: (your Brevo email)
Password: (your Brevo SMTP key)

Important notes

  • Never use the server IP SMTP — it may cause spam problems.
  • Brevo guarantees inbox delivery for business emails.
  • You may create multiple senders for different domains.

Troubleshooting

  • “Authentication failed” — regenerate SMTP key in Brevo.
  • “Cannot connect to server” — use port 587 instead of 465.
